Medium Voltage VFDs(VSDs)
XICHI can provide customers with high-performance, flexible variable frequency drives with voltage levels from 3.3kV to 10kV.
A medium voltage variable frequency drive (MV VFD) is a type of electrical drive that is used to control the speed of medium voltage electric motors by varying the frequency and voltage of the power supplied to the motor.
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD):
Also known as an adjustable-frequency drive, variable-speed drive(VSD), AC drive, or inverter drive.

Voltage Level:
The IEC and internationally accepted standards define the medium voltage range as between 1kV and 35kV. This range is generally suitable for industrial and commercial use.
In GB/T 2900.50-2008, high voltage (HV) is defined as: an AC voltage level higher than 1kV and lower than 330KV in the power system.
Consequently, VFDs exceeding 1kV are commonly referred to as "high voltage VFDs" in China.
